Fiber 101 AT THE RANCH

Fiber 101
April 27th 10:30-2:30ish
** It can be chilly in April, so wear layers and be able to stand in a cement barn for a couple of hours.**
Cost for class: $100
This class will teach you how to go from a raw fleece to preparing it to be ready to spin!
 
We will be skirting a fleece of ours, but feel free to bring your own and get instruction on  how to best skirt it. Venture from the barn into the studio to learn how to wash, comb and use a drum carder.
 
Students should bring- wear old clothes in layers and close toed shoes you don't mind getting dirty out in the alpaca runs, and paper and pen if you want to take notes. Also bring along a snack or sack lunch.

Class cancellations must be made 10 days in advance in order to get a 50% refund.  Cancellations after that will get no refund.  Our instructors require a minimum number of students to teach a class and they schedule their time accordingly. Thank you for your understanding.
